About Three Hills Sports Park

Situated on the outskirts of Folkestone, Three Hills Sports Park is a stylish and contemporary new building set in extensive grounds. Three Hills Sports Park is home to a variety of different sports clubs based in Folkestone. It also provides a venue for any occasion including team building events, business meetings and functions, evening wedding receptions, parties or outdoor events. It offers a smart, professional and flexible venue space right on your doorstep
The facility is open to members of the public, as well as our resident sports club members and includes a fully licensed bar and café which is open daily.

In 2007 the facilities at Cheriton Road Ground were in a very poor condition and not fit for purpose. Playing surfaces were in a poor state and the existing pavilion required substantial renewal that was considered uneconomic. Roger De Hann encouraged the clubs to develop ambitious plans to expand the range of amnesties at the site, and funded the design and build of a magnificent new building, amounting to nearly £7 million.
Shepway District Council have provided a long lease which safeguards provision of these new facilities for 125 years.
A new independent trust was established (Cheriton Road Sports Ground Trust) including representatives of the clubs involved. This Trust recently formed a leisure operating company, ‘Shepway Leisure’, which includes representatives on the board from CRSGT, Shepway Sports Trust and the Roger De Hann Charitable Trust.
The outcome is a range of dramatically improved facilities that have established a centre of excellence for hockey and cricket, as well as a range of other sports. This provides opportunities for the clubs concerned to grow and develop their membership. The project also seeks to encourage more members of the public to participate in sport.

The site has continued to improve since opening in 2013, with a brand new FA registered 3G pitch added to the site in 2015, as well as more recent work such as a stylish new bar extension added in 2017.
The site also works closely with Shepway Sports Trust to help offer affordable sport opportunities for the local community. They have recently launched schemes such as Active 50 & Active Families. For more information on these please email them on  or give them a call on 01303 764261.
